**Wylde Flowers** is a life and farming simulation with a witchy twist, developed and self-published by Studio Drydock.[^1] The player follows Tara, who moves to a rural island to help on her grandmother's farm — and secretly becomes a witch.[^1] The game launched first on Apple Arcade on 18 February 2022.[^2]

## Gameplay

By day the player farms: tending crops, caring for animals, fishing and crafting. By night they cast spells and bond with their coven.[^1] The town of Fairhaven is home to a fully voiced cast of around 30 characters, with romance options and a local mystery threading through the story.[^1] The full English voice cast includes BAFTA-winning actors.[^7]

## Development and release

After its Apple Arcade exclusivity, Wylde Flowers came to Nintendo Switch and Steam on 20 September 2022.[^3][^1] It expanded again in December 2025, arriving on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox on PC on 9 December 2025,[^6] alongside a PlayStation 5 release the same month.[^8]

## Reception

Wylde Flowers won a 2022 Apple Design Award in the Inclusivity category, with Apple highlighting its "refreshingly diverse storyline and cast of LGBTQIA+ representative characters."[^4] Later that year it was named Apple Arcade Game of the Year at the 2022 App Store Awards.[^5] The developer's site also lists the Gayming Awards' Best LGBTQ Indie Game Award and Best Cozy Game at the Cozy & Family-Friendly Games Celebration 2025 among its wins.[^7] It sits firmly in the modern [[cozy-game|cozy]] farming-sim lineage of [[Stardew Valley]].
